Butterflies & Flowers

Hi all! Through this Wednesday the best and brightest in the stamping and crafting industry will be in California showing off their newest products for CHA and.... Mitra Friant, the owner of Impression Obsession, is there and there are so many new and fun stamps that are now available to YOU! All this week, the IO designers will be showing off some of those new stamps!

On to my creation...
This beautiful stamp is actually TWO stamps -- the Frilly Butterfly (8720) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Momento ink, masked and then, the flower (Gentle Rose H8724) was stamped over top and colored with Copic Makers. For marker colors, I used BG0000, YG00, YG03, YG06, YR01, YR04, YR07, YR09, Y38, Y35, C03, C05, and C07. I also used some white gel pen accents on the butterfly. Card Tidbits: the paper is BasicGrey June Bug, ribbon is May Arts, button is My Mind's Eye, and I used a Spellbinders Classic Circle and Beaded Circles dies (cut thanks to my Grand Calibur), You can see that I did emboss and sand the edges of my orange mat as well as the embossed edges of the Beaded Circles die. And that, my friends, is it!

Just an FYI -- my card is 5" by 5" -- so you can see that these images are rather large which adds to the Wow Factor, I say! :-)

I'll be back every day this week to show off more new stamps from Impression Obsession - make sure you hop on over to the IO Blog to see more on the giveaways that they are hosting this week and don't forget my fellow IO design team mates. They have some fabulous pieces of eye candy to show off as well!

Really pretty card. At first glance I though you used 1 stamp only. Great use of multiple stamps. Your color choices really make this card pop. So pretty! :)

You make it sound like making that card "was a piece of cake". Your description sounds, & it looks, a little more complicated than that!
