A very Merry Kissmas!

Are you ready to pucker up for some fun with Flourishes' sneak peek today? Well you should be because the name of today's set tells you why!
This gorgeous series of mistletoe images in the set Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by Marcella Hawley will  ensure a Merry "Kiss"mas for all! It features a beribboned sprig, a kissing ball, and a jaunty border of mistletoe full of holiday charm along with seven fanciful sentiments!

On to my creation! It's funny, my mother-in-law is addicted to those grocery store check out lane magazines and as I was flipping through, I actually found the project I created today! In the magazine, it showed you how you could fold old magazine pages to create an eco-friendly pocket for goodies. Mine, however, uses some decorative paper instead!

So, here's a peek at my finished project....
Now, a peek at how I made it. It's a great one for the kiddos in your life because it couldn't be easier!

Step one: fold a piece of 8 by 8" paper on the diagonal, like this...

Step two: Lining the point up from the right side to the left side, fold and crease, like this....
Step three: Bring the other point over and fold, like this....
Step four: Separate the two top point flaps and fold down, like this.... (sorry for the somewhat blurry photo!)

Add some decorative accents with the help of the new Meet Me Under the Mistletoe set like so....

Here are the details! I cut out my image with a Spellbinders Classic Circles and Spellbinders Blossom Die. I stamped my image on Flourishes Classic White and colored it up with Copics using the Fields and Poppy Collections grouped by Flourishes. I accented around the image with colors B000 and B0000. Add some sparkle on my mistletoe berries thanks to some glitter glue, add some ribbon, a sentiment on a notched out strip of paper (also from the set)  and some oh, so chocolatey kisses and hang it on the door for someone you love! Just that easy peasy! Here's a peek again.... I'm not going to tell you how many of those kisses are already missing... :-)

And that, my friends is it!
