HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is going to be super duper easy peasy. Why? All you need to do is use the sketch above -- any which way! Flip it on its side, flip it upside down, it doesn't matter! Please remember, entries must be in by September 14th at 5PM EST to be eligible. If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the key word FLLCSEPT12. And, don’t forget to link up your creation over on the Flourishes' Blog using the Inlinks widget. Use Flourishes stamps if you have them — Flourishes entries will be counted twice! But, if you don’t have Flourishes, play along anyway, you could WIN some!
On to my creation!
I decided to keep my sketch vertical and used the Garden Picks stamp set for my image. I have to say, I just love the thought of hand-picked herbs fresh from the garden and Marcella did a fabulous job illustrating this set. I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black on Flourishes Classic White. From there, I colored it up with Copic Markers and used the collections below. The paper is actually some older paper from Memory Box that Flourishes used to carry. It just went perfectly with the color scheme I was using. Add some bling and some fun seam binding ribbon and... ta da! Fini!
Here's a close up so that you can see the way I colored this up....
