Now, to my creation! I am coming to be known as the baby sweater lady in my neighborhood! I absolutely love making baby sweaters and love to shower a new mom and babe with them. It's fun for me to knit and purl and know that one day a darling new addition to someone's family will wear it!

I love to also make a card to go along with the project and up until now, I haven't really found a set that I love. Baby Love is PERFECT for baby gifts! See? This one is actually is going to my mom for a charity auction that she helps put together through her church. Edited To Add: Some of you asked what pattern I used and what yarn I used. Here goes! I took this from a pattern in the 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders book by Judith Durant. The pattern is called the Feather and Fan Baby Sweater. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn in Soft Pink. It's inexpensive yarn and knits up very nice -- and washable!

How fun is it to have a great little sentiment and small images perfect for tags?
The card was a blast to create! I took my lead from this week's Timeless Tuesday challenge hosted by Silke Ledlow, which was to score! I scored a criss-cross design onto my Flourishes Classic White card stock and then filled the "diamonds" with the smaller images in this set! The sentiment is also part of the new set. Add a fun punched border and you're almost done! The sentiment was layered with the help of some SU punches and some of that gorgeous May Arts Satin Ribbon. I also added some of the smallest Kaiser pearls to the areas where my diamonds meet.

Do you want to win this set? All you need to do is leave a comment over on the Flourishes Newsletter! A winner will be announced tomorrow! And, remember, the clock is ticking on our Fit For Royalty challenge! Enter and you could win all four of our new release sets. You can read all about it HERE!

Tomorrow brings our final day of peeks leading up to our full of fun Release Party! Tomorrow's set is a fresh pick straight from the garden! You won't want to miss it!

See you tomorrow!

Julie, your sweater set is absolutely beautiful. My thought as I looked at the sweather was "is there anything this lady can't do". I love the gift card you made to go with it. too! The combination of the two makes for a wonderful gift! Great job!

Good thing I wasn't wearing socks this morning or they would have probably landed somehwere out on the front porch. I am so impressed with your knitting. The card's ok, but that knitting is something else. What a gorgeous sweater and it's so nice for you to help your Mom with one of her many kindnesses. Big warm fuzzies, for sure!

The sweater is absolutely darling Julie! I wouldn't be able to give it away, I'd want to frame it in a shadow box! The recipient will be moved to tears when they see it, together with the beautiful matching card. What a blessing to be sure!

This is such a special, personal gift to give, and this new stamp set perfectly coordinates with this beautiful hand-made sweater. Gorgeous card! This looks like a fun set.

Now, where are the details on that sweater? Pattern? Yarn?

Your talents continue to amaze me! Where do you find the time to do create all these projects?? The card and sweater set complement each other. The attention to detail on both is absolutly beautiful and as sweet as a new baby.

Your baby card is so so sweet.......I love how your card coordinates so nicely with the same color of the baby sweater. You have such wonderful taste with everything you do........I am a big fan of yours and I thank you for everything that you share....you make us all better card makers....Would you be willing to share where you got that pattern for that baby sweater? My mom (82 years old) has been knitting for 60 years and she is always looking for special baby sweater patterns and I know she would just love yours....... thanks again Julie

Julie, when do you sleep? Gosh, one awesome project after another! This is so extra special and I'll just bet anyone in the neighborhood who is expecting, is also looking forward to one of your darling little sweaters. I love the way you used the images to pattern the paper. Just too, too sweet!

Girl, I just have to say I think you've ROCKED these releases! This is outstanding. Is that the baby sweater you were working on from before or a new one? I LOVE the colors. And the baby card is just outstanding with the texture and pearls.

And the tiny little detail of the pin on the tag just did me in!

LOVE what you've done here. I think I should have another baby just to get a Julie baby gift. Ok NOT, but it crossed my mind! LOL!

I love all your cards, but the baby sweater and card are really, really adorable. Besides, I am a knitter too, so can not resist a new pattern idea. TFS
