Two kits... one way with some mojo mixed in!

Hi all! Hope you all had a marvelous weekend. Our little family the hills for some camping and I have to say, it felt SO nice to just be unplugged for a while! We sat by the fire, told some stories, listened to some good music and just had good old fashioned family time.

When I got back, I did have some down time to do some coloring. I actually made the trip down five houses to my mom's house and we shared some coffee and coloring time. Nice, right?

Today, I'm showing one card layout, two ways with two different Flourishes kits and a fun Mojo Monday sketch! Here's a peek at the sketch.....

For my first card, I picked up Flourishes 123 Create Kit called Venice. What I really wanted to show is just how easy it is to create when you have 1. a sketch and 2. color coordinated items that you can pick up and use and know... they all match! Honestly, if I was mixing and matching on my own and creating my own layout, these two cards would have taken double the time... easily!

On to card #1.... After cutting my items to make 4 strips of paper and adding the scalloped edge thanks to a circle punch, all of the items were taken straight from the kit -- the paper, the ribbon and the little pearls! Gotta love that! I stamped one of the flowers from Flourishes brand new Zinnias set and colored it up to match my paper. I know these colors don't occur naturally in nature! ;-) I used BG72, BG11 and BG000. The inside was done with the Falling Leaves and Fields Copic collections grouped by Flourishes. My shapes were created by running a Spellbinders Classic Circle, Blossom and one of the small flags from the Nested Lacey Pennants through my Grand Callibur machine. On the Blossom shape, I did emboss and then sanded the edges to reveal the paper's white core.

Here's a closeup...

Now, for a peek at card #2!

This card was created entirely by using Flourishes 123 Create Kit called Yacht Club. Basically all of the same elements were used -- die cut shapes, and layout. The only change is the way I colored up my flowers -- again -- not sure these occur naturally in nature either!. I used a mix of the Fuchsia, Sunflower, Green Grass, and Poppy Copic Collections. The ribbon, paper and little embellie is all a part of the kit!

Here's a close up for you...

And that, my friends, is it! If you want to check out the kits, click HERE. If you want to check out the Mojo Monday sketch, click HERE to check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See y'all back here soon! ;-) If you want to check out Sharon Doolittle , Christine Okken and Dawn Burnworth's places on Monday, they will all have creations using one or both of these kits too!
