Sneak Peak Day 4: Naturally Merry!

Hi all! It's day 4 -- yes -- day 4 of Flourishes’ Sneak Peeks for October! And, today's sneak peek puts a natural spin on the holidays! It's one that gives a classy and outdoorsy feel to any Christmas creation!

Introducing….

Send out Christmas wishes with a natural and earthy flair. This beautiful set called Naturally Merry, illustrated by Marcella Hawley, offers an elegant sugar pine cone and a sprig of holly. Pair these beauties with three elegant Christmas expressions and you have the making of a gorgeous set perfect for the holidays. Set measures 4" by 6".

On to my creation!

I just love the way this border of holly berries looks so very classy! So, I stamped onto Flourishes Classic Ivory using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. And then, I grabbed my Copic Markers (see the Supplies Used for the colors I chose). I cut this to a strip and then added some paper piercing as well. On a piece of kraft paper, I stamped the Christmas Music background using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and then outlined with a gold leaf pen. The sentiment was stamped on a snippet of paper from the Songbird Collection. What's also fun? The red ribbon and the red card stock are both part of the Poppy Color Made Easy Collection. It's a perfect match to the Copic Poppy Collection that I used, I love that! Add the Beaded Squares die to mat my sentiment and... ta da!

Here's a close up so you can see that gorgeous holly berry image!

And, you can see I color coordinated my rhinestone brad thanks to Copic markers as well. I just colored the jewel up to be a perfect match! And that, my friends, is it! Want to win this beauty?
