Sneaks Day 2--- Just for Friends!

Hi there and welcome to Day Two of  Flourishes' November Sneak Peeks! Now that you’re all warm and cozy from our fantastic hot-beverage set yesterday, today we’re going to celebrate all that’s warm and special about friendship. Introducing….

Friendship&FlowersGraphic
This set, Friendship & Flowers, illustrated by Sam Pickard will send sunshine to any friend - near or far! With a beautiful pincushion flower at the center of this set, you'll find a beautiful butterfly and beautifully scripted sentiments add just the right touch. Set measures 4" by 6”. We think it has the perfect heartfelt friendship sentiments in it and we know you’ll love it!

On to my creation!

This card above was kind of funny - I just started to stamp and I had absolutely no idea where I was going with it -- a little stamping here, a little die cutting there and before long, I had my design! I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then, colored up my image using my Copic markers! (See below for the list of the collections that I used) The edge of my card was done with Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders -- I just love the fun edges these dies create!  Add some seam binding ribbon, a little bit of bling and --- ta da! I have to say that the distressed background was created thanks to a brand new stamp set that Flourishes is releasing... tomorrow! Can't wait!

Here's a close up -- love that little butterfly in this set!

And, here's a close up of that beautiful sentiment that is a part of the set!

And that, my friends, is it! The Design Team did a great job celebrating friendship with this set and we know you’ll be inspired. And, while you’re hopping and looking at their creations, don’t forget to try to figure out….

Absolutely gorgeous card. When I start out with no design in mind it usually turns into a total disaster, but yours is an absolute triumph!

Wow! If I started just randomly doing things, my card would definitely NOT turn out to be as pretty as this one! Some of us just don't have that gift. : ) LOVE that ribbon and the bit of bling.
