Happy St. Patty's Day!

Hi all! Our neighbors/good friends have a little guy who turns "1" today! He is 100% Irish! Afterall, his name is Seamus McCall (pronounced Shay-mus) and so, his nickname by our family is simply Famous Seamus! They had a birthday party for him last weekend with an Irish theme and it was too fun for words!!

So, you can't go to an all Irish b-day party and not bring a card to match! I don't have many "kiddo" stamps -- so this is what I did!

Who wouldn't love a green giraffe! LOL! (H&M Stamps) I colored with Copics (Green Nile and Yellowed Green, shading with warm grey #1) and then... added a bit of glitter glue! The rest is pretty self explanatory! The tag was created by two circle punches and THIS darling mini messages set. It's one of my favorite "little words" sets because they can fit on little tags -- just like this! The ribbon was from the dollar bin at Mikes! Pretty simple!
So are you going to serve up some corned beef and cabbage? How about raising a glass of green beer? We're all German in my house so, we'll probably just play it cool. After last weekend, I think I've outdone my attempts at being little Irish!! LOL!
Happy St. Patty's!!

What a cute card for baby Seamus. Gosh 1 year already. Anyway that's an adorable birthday card and a great way to say Happy St. Patrick's Day. Yep, I'm making a corned beef and cabbage dinner even though I'm not Irish. Oh, happy day. Mom
