Hi all! This time next week, Flourishes will be wrapping up its sneak peek week with three new beautiful sets being unveiled! So, to get ready for the big reveal....the DT is ushering in a fun-filled challenge to give you a chance to win them all! Mark your calendar -- the fun starts NEXT WEDNESDAY!!
All you need to do is play along in the....
HOW TO PLAY: Let your creativity shine by being inspired by something in your home - it could be the color scheme of a room, a painting, vase or floral arrangement - the sky is the limit on this Home Sweet Home Challenge! Please take a picture and show the inspiration piece in your post. Entries must be in by May 11th at 5PM EST in order to be in the running for the entire May Release!
Onto my inspiration piece! I have this vase on the top of my cabinet in my kitchen that I thought would be fun to imitate. Here's a peek!
And... here's a look at my vase inspired creation!
After choosing the vase as my inspiration, I knew just what set I would reach for.... Medallion Motif! Easy peasy! I stamped using Versamark, embossed with white detail embossing powder, accented parts of my medallion with BG72 from the Spruce Copic Collection. After that, I added the sentiment punched from a 1-1/2" circle punch (sentiment and frame also from the set). I added some white ribbon and a Seabreeze Sparklet and.... done! There's not a whole heck of a lot to this card but I am kind of digging it! I might need to look for more inspiration around my house! :-)
While you are out and about hopping around, make sure you stop by and see......

Thanks all for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful weekend of plans ahead of you! We have a fundrasier for my kiddos school, which always promises to be lots of fun. So... if I make it out alive, I'll be back next week with some more creative fun! Have a good one!

Gorgeous design.
Wow-eee girl, this is gorgeous! I love the vase firstly....the lacey-ness of the design is beautiful and you've used the medallion so beautifully! I love the play of the tealy blue colors. I dig it too!
Julie this is so pretty. That medallion looks great and the color is wonderful. Have fun the event this weekend.
Oh, this is very striking and looks so much like your picture. It made me gasp when I saw it. Just lovely!
I am trying so hard to get some pieces like this in my barely decorated home.. LOVE these colors and they are really popular. Great card for the inspiration.
I do love that vase, and have just the right sport for it. No wonder it was your inspiration. The card is simply beautiful!

Lovely! That vase is neat-o and you truly were inspired by it - awesome card! Funny how the vase has a wisp of greenery and not a ribbon and bling...
Happy Weekend! My sister was working from home today and multi-tasking, as she was also doing laundry and baking for a sale for the HS baseball team. I added my 2 cents and told her that I was pretty sure Tide Cookies would not be a big money maker. Good Luck with raising funds and survivin' the ordeal!
Julie, you have a beautiful vase! And I can see the inspiration from it on your card. It looks just as beautiful. Love the motif image! Thanks for sharing :)
Great inspiration piece and an absolutely fabulous card! I've never seen this set look better. Love it, Julie!
