IO Design Team Challenge!

Hi all! It's time for another Impression Obsession Design Team Challenge! This month, the team had to bring the look of fall into their card and I had just the perfect stamp! THIS one, called Fall Leaves....

Instead of just grabbing my Prismas, I decided to bring on a bit of the bling! I stamped the leaves with Rich Brown Momento ink and then colored all the leaves with watercolor pencils for the base of color. After I was done there, I went over all the elements with some Shimmerz. I love how this glittery paint blended all the color underneath and gave my image a real depth. When you look at my leaves straight on, you can't see the sparkle but turn it to the light... and BAM!

FYI: I used Royal Red, Pumpkin, Olive Green and Rustic Red.

To finish my card, I added some paper peircing and then my saying "To Everything There Is A Season" down the side of one of my mats with some Rich Brown Momento Ink. Add some ribbon, a button and you're done!

Here's a little bit about Dina that you might not know! You might have stopped by her "place"Mama Dini’s Stamperia before. But, did you know that she is now a missionary along with her family in Indonesia? She also is a self taught graphic designer, plays the piano, and makes a mean homemade pizza! What I love about Dina's style is her fabulous use of color. She is a wiz with Prismacolor and Watercolor Pencils! So, stop by, say "hi!" and welcome her aboard! You won't be sorry that you did!
