Ladybug Hugs for you!

Hi all! Impression Obsession is trying something new and guess what? You get to be the first to check it all out! Starting this month, IO is going to have monthly releases of a few stamp sets just to keep those creative juices flowing and to be able to share even more in the way of new art with IO fans!

A lot of this month's art was penned by a new artist named Claudia Tenorio-Pearl. Her figures have such a whimsical feel that really capture the spirit of a child. Gotta love that! So... on to my creation! (Yes, I know. It's another circle card. I might just need a support group to quit making them!!)

This little number is called Pheobe (CS371) and I just think she's a doll! (She's also available as a single red rubber stamp HERE) Because of the sentiment that is also a part of this clear set, I wanted to make sure my theme was red and black in honor of those lovely lady bugs! I stamped with black ink and then grabbed my Copic Markers to color (R35, R24, R30, BG000, BG0000, C00, C03, C05, C07, R81. R83, R85, G40, and G43). The circle card was created thanks to my Spellbinders Nestabilities Grand Circles and Scalloped Circles. Add a little black seam binding, a little bling (I colored mine red with a Sharpie because I didn't have the right color) and a circle punched sentiment and... ta da!

Here's a close up of Phoebe! Isn't she darling?

And, here's a close up of the sentiment! Something like this will be perfect for my daughter when I want to give her a little pick-me-up!

If you want to check out the new offerings, be sure to hit THIS post on the IO blog where you'll find other creations from the IODT and if you haven't done it yet, Impression Obsession has a brand new website that is not only pretty but fun to scroll through. With so many beautiful images, you'll want to grab a cup of coffee before you start to surf! Click HERE to check it out!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll see you back here real soon!

Darn it! My 9 year old niece loves ladybugs and I don't have a good stamp for her. I see myself creating an IO wish list with this precious darling at the top. Keep making circle cards. I see NO problem. Most everyone (me absolutely, too) only makes A-2 cards. Maybe we're the ones that need "help". Did you put somethin on the black dots on her skirt as they shine a bit or are you just doing your super amazing coloring again?
