Little Trees for You & Me!

Hi all! Hope you are having the happiest of Fridays! To close out the week, I have a little Christmas inspiration to share! I hadn't used a few of the newly released Power Poppy stamps from the Happiest Holiday Collection and thought that they needed a little love!

On to my creation!

I started by stamping these darling little bottlebrush trees using Memento Toffee Crunch ink and then, grabbed a whole mess of green Copic Markers! I used YG11, YG13, YG17, G20, G24, G28, G40, and G43 and then, accented with R14, R24, Y32, and Y35. The bases were done with E31 and a blender pen and then I accented the trees with some gold marker and white paint pen.

Here's a close up!

The paper is all from last year's Teresa Collins Christmas collection. I added a little pennant flags and some twine with a wood button and that is pretty much it!

Have you been playing along in Power Poppy's Peep of the Week challenge? HERE’S HOW TO PLAY: All you need to do is make and share a new Power Poppy creation. Just that simple! It can be anything — a card, an altered item, a 3D creation, a set of cards, ANYTHING! Click HERE for all the fun-filled details!

Before I ride off into the sunset, want to see what some of my fellow comrades on the Bloom Brigade have been up to this week? I know you won't be disappointed if you pay them a little visit!

So sweet Julie! I almost reached for this one yesterday too. Perfectly cozy warm Christmas.

Would you look at this! I just finished a card with this image and it looks NOTHING like this! I mean, I love it, but when I see all this warm coziness I think, "why didn't I do that?". I always love your cards so much, Julie.

Awwwww.... this is adorable Julie! I love the Toffee Crunch ink as your base. The colouring of your bottlebrush trees is too fabulous!

Oh, Julie, you've really made this image "shine!" I love how you've colored it and how you've added the gold marker and white pen! And what a darling layout with the twine and wood button! Love the country, old-fashioned feel to this one! Hugs!

Totally charming. You brought out the character of each of the little bottlebrush "people"! Love the country patterns and raffia, too... just a perfect card, lady.
