2 posts... 1 day??? Are you serious?

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Since it is freezing out and I just don't want to step outside the door, I thought, what a better day to hole in and just.... STAMP! I have been dreaming up this card for days. Ever since my package from Gina K. Designs arrived! Do you ever do that? Just focus on a creation until your head feels like it's going to burst? Well, now you know my little secret. I do. I sketch. I pull papers. I think. I sketch some more. And, I pray that it will translate well. Sometimes what is in your head just doesn't work! Thankfully, this one did!

I used my Spellbinder Nestabilities (Small Classic Circle and Small Scallop) to create not only the hole in the front of my card but also the "frame" that I used around the hole. In between the frame and the card front, I inset some acetate that I had stamped with snowflakes using Staz On ink in white. I wanted the impression of a snowy window. I marked the inside with some pencil to figure out where my little snow house would go, stamped it in Versafine black and then colored it with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I just love how the white "pops!" Then, I went over the house, the door, and the trees with my Copic Spica Glitter Pens. I can't believe how these pens set off such a glittery glow! They rock!

Here's a close up to show the snowy window....

Here's the inside showing the really cute saying...

Well, it's still cold and I still have stamps. So, Lord only knows what will happen next!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
