Let it fly!

Hi all-- happy hump day! I actually had to look at a calendar and say- "Now, what day is it?" When you work at home sometimes you don't really know your up from your down when it comes to days! Then, again, I could just be flighty. Ok, no comments there please!!! :-)

Can you tell I love the latest releases from Flourishes? I can't put them down. When the sets came - I just kept creating, and creating, and creating!

This card is one of those that really, honestly, took no time to make. I had it sketched, found some fun cool grey paper and then just went to town. I used the Bird And Vine set for the pretty vine background and, of course, the birdie and sentiment. I used Nesties for the ovals and then added some small self stick pearls and a really fun brad. I wanted to make it look like my bird was just perched on my sentiment like it was a tree branch. I think it worked!

Before I take off, I do have to tell you all something. If you stop by and comment and wonder why I never make it over to see you - I owe you an apology!!! I love to check in and see what you have all been up to. Because blog time has been really, really low lately because of my "day job"- I actually thought about taking a break and throwing in the hat! Then I thought - maybe I could just explain! I am sure my bloggin' buds would understand! So... there you have it! Know that even though I'm not hopscotching the blogosphere to visit-- it is definitely not a case of out of sight out of mind!!! :-)

Until tomorrow!

~Julie

Lovely card, as always.

Don't worry. I've been incredibly busy recently, too, and there's only me. I don't know how you manage with 3 others in the household, cooking, cleaning, working, driving kids to school, etc., etc.

Ya know what I'd "fly away" from if I could? This rotten cold I got! At least it's getting better (ie the snot isn't drizzling onto the keyboard anymore). Pretty card. Like how the bird is perched. Like the tree card, too. And no blog of mine to visit, just my comments on yours to put up with now and then.

Don't you dare quit. You can only do what you can only do. Those who know you will definitely understand. When I found out you had a job and were doing all you do.....I wondered if you were one of these people who are so intelligent and don't require more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep per night. Well, its nice to hear you are human and sweet and those who don't understand don't, and its not your problem.

Enough lecturing. I apologize. Your card is sensational. It is so feminine that I can't stand it. Your cards always are just so beautiful. So there~

I'm totally with you on the commenting thing. I love to blurf and feel so guilty when I can't. Why do we impose these little rules on ourselves anyway LOL!

Work while the work is available, Julie. My DH was layed off Monday and thirteen followed him into the 'office'. Now, job hunting! Do your best. It is okay to browse cyberspace less frequently~ There are reasons!
