Moving on to my understated birthday card.... I wanted to create a "sweet" birthday card and so I picked up Flourishes Cherries and Peaches set, colored it up with Copics in the Poppy and Fields Collections grouped by Flourishes. Add a little pink chalk around the edges, cut it out with a Spellbinders Circle Die, mat it on a Blossoms die cut shape (also from Spellbinders) and the rest is just adding a dash of ribbon, a whimsical button, a fun sentiment and a little bit of stitched dp (both from BasicGrey)and.... Ta-Dah! :-)

I love this! The coloring is gorgeous and the patterns are perfect, but the detail that pleases me most is the notebook style paper behind the cherries!
