Click HERE for a peek at both sketches and more on the Official Rules!
On to my creation! You can see above which sketch I decided to create with! I knew when I got my hands on the new Echo Park paper called Keepin' Cozy that I would have to use the Flourishes set -- Snow Day! I don't use this set a ton but gosh, it makes incredibly cute winter creations!

Following the sketch, pretty much to a T, I picked the papers and actually made my card before I even colored up my image! I used to do that the other way around and why? I have no idea! It's so much easier this way! I colored my image up using Copic markers (see below for the collections that I used!)

Here's a close up! The image was punched out with a 2" punch and then matted on a piece of decorative paper cut out with the Spellbinders Eyelet Circles. Since the hanger portion of the stamped image was cut off, I decided to set a rhinestone there to look as if the skates were hanging off of it.

See these blingy strips below? Well, those are actually two snippets of THIS glitter tape that I stuck to Flourishes Classic white and then notched out the ends for the flag-like portion of the sketch.

See?

I knew I wanted a little something fun on the inside of my card. Normally, I put the sentiment on the outside of my cards and leave the inside blank. With this sketch, however, I couldn't figure out how to add a little sentie. So.... using Summer Sky Memento Ink, I stamped the little Nordic pattern along the bottom of my card and then, over top using Nautical Blue, I stamped the sentiment Snowy Greetings. Sweet and simple!

And that, my friends, is it! And now for some wonderful Sketchy Inspiration, our Design Teams have some great angles to show off to you:
